About

Samantha originally founded ‘Building Voices Public Speaking’, a communication coaching business that works with children to develop lifelong skills as confident communicators.

“To understand why ‘Building Voices Public Speaking’ was born, I feel it’s important to understand my drivers to change career. To call my childhood difficult would be oversimplifying my experience. My life was one of displacement, violence, and a constant need to adapt to a new environment and culture when living in seven countries: Malta, Iran, Sudan, Nigeria, Cyprus, UK, and now Australia.”

Samantha has faced many challenges in her life, beginning with her family’s evacuation from Iran in 1978 in the revolution that toppled the reign of the last Shah. Returning to the UK with nothing but the clothes on their backs, she had to adapt to a new way of life. Although she could speak English fluently, she could neither read nor write the language proficiently, so achieving English literacy was her first hurdle. She then moved to Africa, and for the next ten years, lived through much more than the average child of her age.

It is because of the adversity she has overcome that she found the courage to share her experiences with others; to help them find their voice, create their victories and make them masters of their destinies.

Samantha has over the years attracted adults and professionals to work with her and she knew it was time for her to create a business that was directed only to adults.

Samantha believes that without us and our ideas, we wouldn’t have our businesses, and every single person on this planet deserves to have a voice and be heard.
